Second Class had brilliant fun making boats last week. We were learning about floating and sinking, density, what makes something buoyant and how to make an object water resistant. In groups, the children then made a buoyant/water resistant boat of their own. When all of the boats were fully completed, we tested them in water to see if they floated. All of the boats passed the test!
