Our integrated learning theme for March and April was 'Celebrations'. We opened a party shop in our role play corner and discussed the different occasions that we celebrate. We took turns being the shopkeeper and the customer. We designed and wrote greeting cards, invitations and shopping lists. We made buns and cakes at the marla and sand stations. We built party venues with our blocks. One of the best activities was the children organising a party for the teddy bears. Thankfully all the bears got on well together and no teddy bear ate too much!!
